Investigations have led police to believe 39-year-old Nicholas O’Donohue is a person of interest in this investigation. Mr O’Donohue was last known to be residing in Tennyson St, Elwood.
He was last seen driving a 95 blue Ford station wagon, registration NND 753 in Tennyson St Elwood about 2.30pm on Wednesday 13 October.
The alleged assault took place in the victim’s West Footscray home.
As a result of the vicious assault, the 33-year-old female sustained serious facial injuries and required hospitalisation.
