Park set for upgrade

WERRIBEE Park members were told at their annual general meeting last week that it might not be too long before a draft proposal to surface the car park is put to them.
This has been a long time coming and may help make the club more presentable. Members were also told the club had decided to allow the kikuyu grass to cover the fairways, and this was something Bob Shearer recommended to club president Wayne Byrne and captain Roger Chambers earlier this year.
