TWO Kingsville men were among four arrested last week over a city brawl between rival soccer fans in December.
Police executed a series of warrants across residential properties in Kingsville, Werribee and Norlane on Monday morning, arresting a 44-year-old man and a 19-year-old man from Kingsville, a 19-year-old man from Werribee and a 32-year-old man from Norlane.
The arrests follow a brawl outside a licensed premises in Bourke St on 28 December.
Three people were treated at the scene and one person was taken to hospital with minor injuries. All four were subsequently charged and have been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 20 May.
The 19-year-old Kingsville man has been charged with affray, conduct endangering injury, discharge distress signal (flare), throw/discharge missile.
The 44-year-old Kingsville man has been charged with affray, conduct endangering serious injury, throw/discharge missile and carry dangerous article.
The 19-year-old Werribee man has been charged with affray, conduct endangering serious injury, throw/discharge missile and possess distress signal (flare).
The 32-year-old Norlane man has been charged with affray, conduct endangering serious injury, throw/discharge missile and carry dangerous article.
Meanwhile, a 23-year-old man from NSW has since been charged with conduct endangering serious injury, discharging a missile and possessing cannabis.
He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 24 April.
Detectives from Melbourne Crime Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the incident.
