WYNDHAM sports groups are being asked to take part in community consultation on recreation policies recently developed by the council.
Many Wyndham sports clubs have received an information pack containing the policies, along with the outdoor sports facilities licence agreement.
The following documents have been drafted:
• Occupancy of the council’s outdoor sports facilities policy;
• Fees and charges for the use of the outdoor sports facilities policy;
• Outdoor sports facilities maintenance responsibilities policy;
• Outdoor sports facilities capital works contributions policy.
The public information sessions will be held at the Kelly Park Centre, Synott St, on Wednesday 5 March and Tuesday 11 March at 6.30pm.
These meetings will provide a brief presentation outlining the policy development process and the impact on user groups.
Council officers will be available to answer questions.
