FIRE safety is back on the agenda and with the recent scorching temperatures the Metropolitan Fire Brigade (MFB) is keen to highlight the message.
The MFB, in partnership with Parks Victoria, will hold two summer fire safety seminars for residents in the West this week.
The one-hour information sessions will be held at the Brimbank Park Conference Room on Keilor Park Drive on Thursday 17 January at 7pm and Sunday 20 January at 10am.
The sessions will include advice on how to prepare for a fire, what to do in a fire, what to expect and what you can do on a total fire ban day.
The sessions will also provide an opportunity to ask questions on general fire safety. For further information contact the Western Zone office on 9665 4538.
