FOOTSCRAY and Sunshine TAFEs have received $550,000 to upgrade facilities and buy training equipment.
The funding includes $100,000 for the Sunshine campus of Victoria University to refurbish workshops with energy saving devices and $450,000 to upgrade building management systems at the Footscray campus. The funds are part of $20 million from the State Government to be shared by all 18 Victorian TAFEs.
