THE main street of Werribee stood still last Sunday as war veterans, nurses and their family and friends marched down Watton St to show their respect to Australia’s fallen. RAAF and Army personnel laid wreaths at the Werribee cenotaph alongside residents, Wyndham councillors, politicians and veterans.
