Students take a world view

GLOBE-TROTTING students from Werribee Secondary College gathered last week to compare souvenirs and re-live their recent adventures.
The students visited sister schools and stayed with host families in India, Singapore and Italy during their three-week in trip December.
They also visited dozens of “must-see” tourist highlights ranging from Big Ben to the Taj Mahal.
Teacher Lucy Cirona said the trip was a life-changing experience for many of the 14 students.
“They were able to see outside their own culture and lives, but also recognise how much we have in common with people from the other side of the world.”
The school is planning another trip next year to develop the friendships and professional links already made.
