SUNSHINE is the cheapest place to rent a home, State Government figures show.
The June quarter rental report had Sunshine at the head of the list of Melbourne’s cheapest rents, at $120 a week for a one-bedroom flat.
The report shows median rents are stable relative to average weekly earnings.
The median rent in Melbourne was unchanged at $240 a week.
