MAIDSTONE fire-fighter Scott McGraw pulled out all the stops when he scaled Eureka Tower three times earlier this month. The 38-year-old ran nine minutes and two seconds in his first run to the top to place fifth and record a personal best. He then ran again with a group of fire-fighters before pulling on his fire-fighting gear for a third attempt. “Three times was really tough,” he said. “I felt alright in the breathing, but when I started running it was just torture.” The stair climb helped raise $230,000 for disadvantaged youth. 71776 Picture: NICOLE SULTANA
