HOPPERS Crossing has been chosen as the setting for a TV show that helps make life in the suburbs even better.
Lifestyle program Better Homes and Gardens will spend three days filming an entire episode in Wyndham later this month.
From 28 February to 2 March the entire cast of the show, including Johanna Griggs, Dr Harry Cooper, Rob Palmer, “Fast Ed” Halmagyi, Tara Dennis and Jason Hodges, will meet with residents while filming.
Tara and Jason will make over a kitchen, bedroom and courtyard to be constructed in the Hoppers Crossing Bunnings store.
Graham will demonstrate inventive new ways to grow vegetables and present the most sought after plants of this year.
Dr Harry will display increasingly popular peculiar pets and take a trip out to the Werribee Open Range Zoo.
The show’s host, Johanna Griggs, said she was looking forward to filming in Wyndham.
“The whole team is ridiculously excited about meeting the Hoppers Crossing locals and to get an opportunity for us to thank them for watching and supporting our show,” Griggs said.
“We hope we get to meet as many of them as we can, and that they get to see how the show is made, meet their favourite presenters and enjoy a great day out. There will be lots going on.”
Crowd favourite Dr Harry said he was excited to return to Werribee Zoo.
“I love the segments where we get to meet the fans. I’ll be showcasing the increasingly popular peculiar pets and heading out to Werribee Zoo. It’s a Zoo like no other and I can’t wait explore it again,” Dr Harry said.
Residents are encouraged to attend with their families to meet the team and see all the action at Bunnings Warehouse Hoppers Crossing, 221-231 Old Geelong Road.
The Bunnings Warehouse Hoppers Crossing episode will air on Friday 11 April.
