A BRIMBANK College student who was attacked by a schoolboy bully last year was suspended for one day for his part in the fight.
He was attacked by a 15-year-old student who was later suspended from the school for three days.
The victim was playing cricket when the bully stole his bat and pelted him with rocks at the St Albans school.
The victim, now 16, suffered a fractured spine.
The bully has pleaded guilty at the County Court last week to one count of negligently causing serious injury.
In recent media reports the court heard that the Brimbank College vice-principal refused to pass the boy’s letter of apology to his victim.
The school has reportedly feared the boy’s parents would sue according to media reports.
Brimbank College failed to return Star’s calls last week.
