THE Wyndham Live-It Love-It Ambassador Passport Program was launched last week.
Supported by the local tourism industry, the program provides a wide range of discounts and incentives exclusive to Wyndham residents 18 years and over.
Locals simply need to show proof of residency, such as a driver’s licence, rates notice or a utility bill, to access the special offers.
Tourism operators participating in the program include the Werribee Open Range Zoo, Werribee Park and the 1870s Italianate Mansion, Sofitel Mansion and Spa, Shadowfax Winery, Point Cook Homestead and Cafe, RAAF Museum and the B24 Liberator plane, Mambourin Sensory Garden and Cafe and the Werribee Park Golf Club.
Wyndham mayor Shane Bourke encouraged all residents to take advantage of the great discounts.
“We hope to see people getting out and enjoying their wonderful city, along with their friends and family,” he said.
“The Ambassador Passport has such a fantastic range of offers, from discounted entry to Wyndham’s major tourist attractions, live entertainment and leisure activities, to sumptuous food and wine experiences and special getaway packages.
“The hardest decision will be what to do first.”
