LONG-awaited road safety works finally got the nod last week.
The works include installation of:
– Road humps in the north-south section of Boberrit Wynd, Sydenham, worth $20,000;
– A central traffic island in Tintaldra Drive at the intersection of Burrowye Cres, Keilor; and
– Road humps at each of the four bends in Cambridge Cres, Taylors Lakes, at a total cost of $48,000.
The works are designed to improve safety and minimise congestion, speeding and anti-social driving.
