A breath of fresh air

WEST Yarraville will be in full bloom this time next year after the On the Nose Group scored a $50,000 EPA grant to plant up to 300 new trees on the streets. Maribyrnong City Council has also matched the  donation with in-kind support through project management, planting  and ongoing maintenance of the new trees. The streets earmarked for planting in West Yarraville are in the area bounded by Francis and  Roberts streets, Geelong Rd and Footscray Cemetery. Planting will begin in May next year.
