POLICE are calling on the public to assist them with information following an armed robbery in Wyndham Vale.
A Victoria Police spokesperson said that investigators were told that a man entered a 7-Eleven convenience store on Ballan Rd about 12.15am on Thursday 18 October and threatened a staff member with a knife. “The attendant was forced to hand over cigarettes and cash before the offender left the store and ran off,” the spokesperson said.
“Fortunately nobody was injured during the robbery.” The offender is described as caucasian, 175 centimetres tall, slim and wearing all dark clothing.
