Partnering Parry helps hospice

GOLFERS will be able to chip in to support the Mercy Hospice’s major fundraiser in Maidstone next week.
The Medway Golf Club and Australian Golf Open winner Craig Parry will host an exclusive golf day on Monday to raise funds for the hospice.
World aerobic champion and fitness guru Sue Stanley, football stalwart Doug Hawkins, media personality Anthony Hudson and cricketer Max Walker will be listed on the scorecard in an effort to attract business sponsorship and donations for the worthy cause.
As part of the sponsorship packages, residents will be given the opportunity to donate funds for the chance to tee of with Parry at a number of the holes throughout the course.
Parry has been involved in the hospice fundraising competition for the past 17 years.
Money from the competition will go towards funding the specialised palliative care the hospice has been offering terminally ill people for the past 25 years.
The hospice also offers individual counselling and family workshops to family members of terminally ill people.
To participate in the event contact Mercy Hospice events co-ordinator Sunday Witnish on 0418 202 455 or by email on switnish@mercy.com.au.
