THE call is out for local volunteers to sell pins, ribbons and pens to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.
Friday, 26 May is 65 Roses Day, the annual fundraiser for Cystic Fibrosis Australia (CFA).
“Children can be too young to say Cystic Fibrosis, that’s why we have 65 Roses, but they’re never too young to be affected by this devastating condition,” CFA’s Terry Stewart said.
Mr Stewart is asking the community to get involved by selling 65 Roses Day merchandise in their local areas.
Money raised from the sale of rose pins, pens and ribbons will be used to fund much-needed research into the most common life-threatening, recessive genetic condition affecting Australian children.
