A JURY has found seven men, including three from Brimbank, guilty of murder.
The jury accepted the prosecution’s argument the seven accused chased James Huynh, 19, and his two cousins along Chapel St, South Yarra, following a fight in the Salt night club on July 8, 2002.
The attackers used knives and samurai swords to hack and stab Mr Huynh at a bus stop. Two of Mr Huynh’s cousins – Viet Huynh, 25, and Nam Huynh, 21 – drowned after leaping into the Yarra River.
St Albans residents Thanh Nha Nguyen, 25, Hong Bui, 23, and Sunshine resident Hoang Quang Tran, 23, and four other men, will appear at a presentencing hearing in October.
