THE West’s windswept natural beauty and industrial past collide, as Albion musician and painter Robert Jackson presents Musician as Painter at Deer Park’s Hunt Club.
A saxophonist and performer, Mr Jackson has been painting for the past 10 years and is currently an artist-in-residence at the Hunt Club. Featuring natural images of the West and of the industry it supports, Mr Jackson’s collection consists of paintings created since 2005.
The exhibition will be on show at the Hunt Club, 775 Ballarat Rd, Deer Park until 12 April, Monday to Thursday 9am to 8pm (9am to 6pm school holidays), Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
