HEALTHY body image will soon be targeted by three innovative programs developed to deliver an important message to young people in the City of Maribyrnong.
A variety of methods will be used to convey a positive self-esteem message after $5000 in State Government funding was confirmed for three programs in the municipality.
Young Braybrook and Maidstone residents will explore body issues through animation, while Footscray residents will get behind the camera to examine body image as part of two of the programs given funding.
The cutting edge program, Animate Your Mind, will give young people a creative medium to express their views with the support of award winning animator Lindsay Cox.
