LOVERS of fine food sat down to dine with nearly 200 like-minded Victorians last Friday at the Werribee Park Mansion to enjoy Wyndham’s third annual longest lunch.
The event takes place simultaneously at about 20 other locations around the state and is part of the Melbourne Food and Wine Festival.
Despite some morning showers, the group enjoyed champagne on the Mansion balcony overlooking the gardens, followed by a three-course lunch prepared by the Sofitel Mansion.
The lunch ticket included entry to the Mansion, the Helen Lempriere national sculpture display and the State Rose Garden.
