ABOUT 80 residents attended the Werribee Community Forum with the Member for Lalor, Julia Gillard, at the Kelly Park Centre Hall last week.
Giving locals the opportunity to voice their concerns on various issues, the forum was chaired by Wyndham Mayor Shane Bourke and attended by the director of Wyndham Services, Bernie Cronin.
The issues raised included rising petrol prices, the level of police presence in Werribee, skilled migration, the availability of jobs, the dental care system and waiting lists, and WorkChoices, specifically the effect of AWAs.
