LAST week, Travis Tunstall, an 11-year-old student at Werribee Primary School, and Greg Packham, the performing arts teacher at Iramoo Primary, had little in common.
But now they are both bald, after each decided to shave their head as part of the Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave.
Travis said he was motivated to cut his hair by one of his cousins, who sadly died from the condition a few years ago, only a few weeks short of her 11th birthday.
And Mr Packham decided to cut his shoulder-length locks after a mate dared him to do it at a pub.
The money raised by the hundreds of people around Australia like Travis and Mr Packham helps patients and their families living with leukaemias, lymphomas, myeloma and related blood disorders.
