LOCAL emergency services workers have donated a $10,000 blood gas analyser from the proceeds of their fund-raising dinner last month.
It will be used by the Paediatric Emergency Transport service to provide intensive care treatment to children.
Sergeant Ron Fenton from Werribee Police, who has helped organise the charity dinner for the Police and Community Consultative Committee for the past seven years, said that the life-saving piece of equipment would help children across Australia.
