Trees included on road to rejuvenation

THE Wyndham City Council has given the nod for a million-dollar project to improve the look of Old Geelong Rd.
The four-kilometre stretch between Forsyth and Morris roads will be landscaped with trees and shrubs.
Other works planned include upgrading kerbs and drainage.
The project is estimated to cost $1.5 million and be staged over several years.
The council has committed $100,000 and received $92,000 from VicRoads.
It plans to seek more grants from VicRoads.
