A WYNDHAM football club was hoping to extend their unbeaten record against an old foe last week. The Wyndham All Abilities Football and Cricket Club, previously known as the Mambourin Tigers, took to their oval to take on the Werribee CFA in a friendly footy match. It was the third time the competition has been held, with the Wyndham All Abilities, a club for people with intellectual disabilities, winning the first two matches. Speaking before the event, president of the Wyndham All Abilities, Rhonda Templeton, said it was also the first year that a real trophy would be presented to the winners, raising the stakes. “I think the All Abilities guys will give them a run for their money,” Ms Templeton said. “I think everybody goes out there for pride and parcel and they want to win that trophy.” The event, held last Sunday, also included raffles and a sausage sizzle with all the money raised going to support the All Abilities Club. 86167 Picture: DAMIEN VISENTINI
