ENVIRONMENTALLY-conscious locals have been invited to attend a free forum on climate change next Monday.
The forum will be held at Harambe African Restaurant, upstairs at 205 Nicholson St, Footscray. It will be hosted by local state MP Colleen Hartland and Maribyrnong councillor Janet Rice. Dinner starts at 6.30, with talks to follow an hour later.
Speakers include Dr Penny Whetton, who will talk about “Understanding Climate Science” and David Spratt, who will discuss “What Climate Change Means for Us”. Neesh Wray and Shaun Murray will speak about “Practical Ways We can Reduce our Carbon Footprint”.
