A NEW indoor sports centre has been approved for Wyndham within the next five years.
The Wyndham City Council voted to earmark $8 million for a facility, to be built in 2009-10.
No specific site has been proposed for the centre, but it will be positioned to serve the north and east of Wyndham.
The council also voted to construct an additional court at the Werribee Sports and Fitness Centre on Ballan Rd for $1.2 million.
