FIREFIGHTERS were called to a suspicious fire in Railway Ave, Werribee early on Sunday morning. The fire caused more than $300,000 damage to a fitness club and adjoining factories.
Werribee fire brigade chief Darryl Wells said firefighters took about 30 minutes to control the blaze, which destroyed Curves gym.
Mr Wells said the investigation had been handed over to Werribee police.
