“One of the people at the party walked out to the front of the house to make sure the group had gone. The man, 26, was attacked by youths with tree stakes.”
Two other men at the party went to the man’s aid, but were also attacked.
The 26-year-old man was also hurt, suffering a cut to the head and bruising.
Investigations into the attack are continuing and police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or www.crimestoppers.com.au.
