COACHES became students at Whitten Oval earlier this month when Western Bulldogs star Lindsay Gilbee and Bulldogs’ assistant coach Paul Williams took a kicking workshop recently. Calder Cannons coach Marty Allison attended along with Western Jets coaching staff with the focus on kicking covered in theory and practice.
Williams discussed the theory behind kicking techniques and the specific teaching points while Gilbee looked at the practical skills of kicking and how to improve those skills.
