Platform turned into an artform

FOOTSCRAY station will feature in an epic art project being undertaken by artist Simon Terrill and Footscray Community Arts Centre.
It is the latest iconic site to be pictured by Mr Terrill as part of the Crowd Theory series of photographs.
Previous works have featured Southbank and Skinner Reserve in Braybrook.
The project will be a large-scale photo shoot of commuters at the Footscray Station.
Regular commuters will be pictured alongside pre-arranged groups of people who represent different aspects of life at the station.
Organisers aim to picture daily commuter life with an imagined version of what is possible.
“We aim to make the train station an iconic Footscray site, in all its complexity and richness,” Terrill says.
