Mr Pangeng will play the erhu, an instrument specific to China, which has two strings.
Mr Pangeng uses considerable technical skill to vary the tone produced by the instrument to create a range of melodies.
He will play traditional Chinese and modern music, Western classical music and international folk music at the concert.
Mr Pangeng will also give a short workshop on the night and answer questions from the audience.
