Local radio personality Nik James flew to Melbourne last week along with around a dozen other journalists and presenters from around Australia for the official launch of Austar’s Fox Footy Channel 504.
The event was held at the Rialto Hotel in the CBD with a special guest list includingTV heavyweight Eddie McGuire, AFL legend Dermott Brereton, commentator Anthony Hudson and Austar CEO John Porter.
“I was lucky enough to be seated next to Eddie at the event where we dined at the Vue De Monde Restaurant on the 55th floor which has an incredible view of the Melbourne city skyline,” Nik said. “Eddie and the team talked footy for three hours so I didn’t get a chance to ask him how I can become a millionaire,” he joked.
