Our littlest bubs were given some extra love by members of the Inner Wheel Club of Port Macquarie
West recently.
Members presented a number of special gift bundles to the nursing staff at the Premi Babies’ Ward of the Port Macquarie Base Hospital.
The parcels contained a hand-knitted shawl, body suit, singlet, bonnet and booties together with a teddy bear which is given to mother and baby when they leave the hospital.
The Club’s ongoing support has included DVD and CD players for the children’s ward as well as other items to assist the staff in caring for young ones in these wards.
