Lions’ share for community and charities

For the next four or five months, Port Macquarie Lions members will be selling raffle tickets in the CBD, Settlement City and Coles Lake Innes, with all profits going towards helping our community and charitable causes.
Port Macquarie Lions Club has been of service to its community for over 50 years.
In the last 18 months, the Club has assisted the Cancer Council (Daffodil Day), Port Macquarie Hospital (blanket warmer for patients), Garden Village (bus with chairlift), local schools, Hastings Men’s Shed and appeals like the NSW Flood Appeal and the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal.
Lions Clubs throughout the world have a proud tradition of assistance within their communities.
The Lions are one of the world’s largest service clubs, with 1.35 million members and 45,000 clubs worldwide. Australia has over 1400 clubs with over 31,000 members.
The Lions thanked Flight Centres, Settlement City and Port Central and Coles Lake Innes for their sponsorship and help with the raffle prizes.
