Following a month of fundraising 2MCFM has announced the Mid-North Coast community has raised a “record amount” of $43,420.26 for the Give Me 5 For Kids campaign.
The money will be split between the Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Macksville and Wauchope Hospitals to purchase vital medical equipment to assist our sick and injured kids.
Since 2005, the Give Me 5 For Kids has raised $197,500.
Our Hospitals can now afford to purchase items such as a portable saturation monitor for the maternity ward, oxygen saturation probes, paediatric pulse oximeters, a Bilisoft LED phototherapy system, humidifiers and even entertainment units to keep children amused during recovery.
