The Friends of Port Macquarie Library are holding a supersized Cookbook Sale at Port Macquarie Library on Friday, October 12, from 1pm to 5pm. Join in for a cuppa and a browse and buy.
President, Karen Brown, said proceeds from the sale would be used to fund the Annual School Reading Awards. The Friends present a book voucher to a student who has been chosen for their improved literacy skills, from each primary school in the area.
As well, The Friends see the Cookbook Sale as supporting the ‘Tastings on Hastings’ which will be held the following Sunday.
