Port High’s Cross Country was held in perfect conditions on Thursday.
The event was held at the Rosendahl Reservoir with a cool southerly blowing, at a sunny 19 degrees.
All runners enjoyed the scenic course around the ‘lake’ which was possible with the co-operation of Hastings Council and former student, Matt Temple, who assisted with setting up the course.
This was an event for participants only and two busses were needed for the enthusiastic students who nominated for the event.
All students were back at school by 11am and continued with normal lessons.
