Bago Magic Performance Group has been presented a cheque for $5000 to help its cause.
The State Government one-off grant will be used to help fund the group.
Member for Port Macquarie, Leslie Williams, who handed over the monies, said, “I have been a supporter of Bago Magic for many years. They have entertained so many people with their unique shows.
“I am happy to have been able to speak directly with the Minister for Disability Services, Andrew Constance, who has provided $5000.
“While they still need some extra funding, this will at least enable the group to continue with their show in November and hopefully into the future.
“If anyone else or any community group can also support Bago Magic, it would be greatly appreciated,” Mrs Williams said.
