K—2 students at Tacking Point Public School celebrated National Science Week by holding a Science Fun Day.
National Science Week is an annual celebration of science in Australia. The schools theme for 2012 was “energy evolution”.
The day involved a variety of hands-on and craft activities which allowed students to explore different sources of energy.
These activities included making static electricity, rocket balloons, windmills, kites and climbing lizards — just to name a few. A great day was had by all.
