Last week, TV and radio journalist/broadcaster Steve Liebmann, actor/presenter/radio host Kate Ritchie, former Police Tactical Response/rugby league referee Bill Harrigan and world bodyboarding Champion/Dropknee World Tour Champion Damian King, plus six residents with inspiring career stories, talked to local students about getting the most out of life.
The positive affirmations were part of the Building Aspirations – Get The Life You Love Forum held at St Columba Anglican School on March 8 to inspire students to aspire to get the life they love through understanding and knowledge of their interests, skills and opportunities to make a successful transition into an increasingly complex labour market.
There was a community “Have Your Say” activity and musical performances.
The audience also included key stakeholders across the NSW Mid-North Coast region – schools, TAFE, educational facilities, and a wide range of community and business organisations – and the 800 local students.
