Hot options at home mecca

Get ready to spruce up your home  with the most exciting home building and ideas event Port Macquarie has hosted this year.
Thousands of residents will be setting the pace at the Port Macquarie Indoor Stadium on Hastings River Drive this weekend for The Port Macquarie Home Show.
The much anticipated event kicks off on Saturday, September 17 and runs until Sunday, September18 between 10am and 4pm daily.
Organisers Peter Grimmond and Kim Lambert said a plethora of businesses (about 80) will be on site to showcase ideas and inform interested home owners and renovators about their exciting products.
Everything ‘home-related’ will be on hand – from builders to solar powered concepts, pool options, banking solutions, gadgets and renovation ideas and so much more, Mr Grimmond said.
“If you were looking to renovate your home you would drive around looking at ideas for days on end and spend a fortune on petrol,” he said.
“At the Home Show, everything is at your fingertips and under one roof — what more could you want.”
And the list goes on.
The Port Macquarie Independent is a key sponsor of the event and sales manager Jo Mansell said the lead-up to the event has been abuzz with excitement.
“This Show is a hit every year, with both stall holders and the public overwhelmed with the response they have received,” she said.
“Be it finding out about home planning, pools, solar options or detailing your home, it’s a win, win for one and all.”
Do not miss out on this mecca of home ideas at the Show this weekend.
Entry for adults is $5, concession and students (5-18 years) $3, children under 16 free (when accompanied by an adult).
