Romantic engagement in the vines

A night of sumptuous wining and dining could not have ended on more of a “happily ever after” note for one loved up Wauchope couple.
After a month of planning and every detail accounted for, the ever romantic Josh Jones proposed to his partner Sam Ward at a surprise dinner at Cassegrain Winery’s The Restaurant, recently.
The starry-eyed husband-to-be organised a beautiful meal at the winery with the much-appreciated help of staff, to propose to his lovely Sam.
He custom-made a dessert menu with a proposal written in it.
So after a lovely meal, sitting in the bar area, what Sam thought would be a sweet treat on the menu, turned into a lifelong delight.
“I just couldn’t believe it, it was so special, so romantic and I obviously said yes – I love him,” she said.
“It meant the world to me and now we are making plans to marry in about September next year.”
Sam, 24, said Josh, 34, was the man of her dreams: So grounded and a wonderful father to their two children – seven-month-old baby Amelia and eight-year-old Jake.
Josh said he had found his partner in life in Sam too – “a wonderful woman, a true person, who is so pretty and kind and so good for me.”
The smitten couple met at a Wauchope fruit shop where Sam worked, and “can’t wait to share many more happy memories and adventures together.”
