$130K to get tourists here

The Legendary Pacific Coast is set to heat up this summer with a major media campaign launched on November 14 to entice travellers to head north to destinations from the Central Coast to the Northern Rivers regions.
Collectively, The Legendary Pacific Coast accounts for approximately 22 million visitors per annum and over 33 million visitor nights in NSW across 900km.
The Legendary Pacific Coast billboard and $130,000 campaign launch was held on Monday on the Pacific Highway 1km north of the Hastings River Drive turnoff.
The Legendary Pacific Coast brand was first launched in November 2010 to promote Australia’s top tourism coastal drive and a five-day road trip was conducted by Sydney’s Triple M Grill Team. Since then, the website and free iPhone application have received good visitation, providing information for anyone travelling north of Sydney along the Pacific Highway.
One year on, the $130K media campaign will reinforce throughout regional NSW the variety of legendary experiences, places to stay and activities on offer along the Pacific Coast corridor in northern NSW.
