GET ready for a singing and dancing extravaganza when the Wauchope Country Club starts its Talent Quest next month.
The club is looking for poets, dancers, actors and musicians, over the age of eight, to compete in the competition.
The heats for the Vocal and Instrumental Section will be held on Sunday 11, 18 and 25 August, while the Dance, Drama and Poetry Section will be held on Sunday 1, 8 and 15 September, all from 3pm-6pm in the downstairs auditorium at the country club.
The semi-finals and grand final are scheduled for later in September and will be hosted by master of ceremonies and radio broadcaster Angus Gill. A panel of experts has also been put together in order to judge the quest.
“The quest is aimed to showcase all the wonderfully talented acts that reside on the Mid North Coast,” Angus said.
“I have participated in many talent quests and it is great to be involved with the contest from a different perspective.”
