Anyone for daytime bridge?

HAVE you ever contemplated the mysteries of bridge?
Port Macquarie Hastings Bridge Club is holding daytime classes at their clubhouse on Hastings River Drive, starting with an open day on Monday 24 June from 9am to 11am and running for seven weeks. Cost is $10 per lesson.
The teacher for the daytime classes is Yvonne Cains, a highly skilled player who has taught bridge for many years in the Hastings. During the course of seven lessons Yvonne gradually introduces the principles of the game through her comprehensive lessons and practice hands.
At the conclusion of the course, you can come along to supervised play until you are ready to join in the regular duplicate sessions which take place at the clubhouse every day except Sunday.
The advantages of bridge include –
– Bridge will keep you mentally alert in your latter years and quite probably will therefore help you live longer. There is a negative correlation between bridge players and those suffering form Alzheimer’s.
– It is relatively inexpensive to play.
– You can play socially or competitively. Either way the game offers a significant challenge.
– You can meet lots of new people at bridge clubs.
