HASTINGS Co-op SUPA IGA in Wauchope was presented with multiple awards at the 2013 NSW/ACT Metcash Food and Grocery State Conference in Adelaide earlier this month.
The store was the recipient of the awards for Dairy/Freezer Department and Liquor Department, proving to be a stand-out among its IGA counterparts across the state.
The awards recognised excellence in all areas of an IGA business – the efforts of the store in the community, as well as its staff and customer service.
Consistent achievement, performance throughout the year, the focus on excellence and delivering a service to their customer’s needs were also taken into account.
Hastings Co-op SUPA IGA Wauchope manager Darren Partridge said he was delighted and proud to have taken out the awards.
“We work extremely hard to ensure we are providing our loyal customers with the best products and service possible,” he said.
“We would like to thank Metcash Food and Grocery for recognising our efforts in creating a superb shopping experience for the local community.
“We would also like to thank all our staff for their hard work throughout the year, as well as our supportive customers.”
Hastings Co-op SUPA IGA Wauchope Plus Liquor will now be a finalist at the National Metcash Food and Grocery Retailer of the Year Awards next month.
