Camp Quality (CQ) is holding its annual Golf Day at Port Macquarie Golf Club on Monday, October 24, and it’s time we all teed up for the cause.
Northern NSW manager Mike Symonds said the day is an integral part of the Port Macquarie golfing calendar.
But firstly, “A big thanks has to go to Port Macquarie Golf Club and the main organiser for the past few years, Sid Crane,” he said.
“Without their ongoing support and efforts, the day wouldn’t be where it is today.”
Mr Symonds said CQ was trying a couple of different things this year.
“We have broken the day up into a morning and afternoon competition,” he said. “There will be separate awards, presentations and auctions for both competitions.
“It’s really important that every player has the opportunity to experience the Golf Day in its fullest entirety.”
The morning competition will tee off at 7.15am and the afternoon competition at 12.15pm.
Each competition will be run as a 4man ambrose, with a couple of novelty holes designed to test the skills and nerves of each golfer.
To enter a team costs $200 and hole sponsorships is $250.
To register a team or find out more about hole sponsorship, contact CQ on 6651 4486.
